Exploring YQL OpenTables and YQL Execute

Reading the documentation for YQL OpenTables, I had hoped to add an opentable for one of the web services I use (http://www.rememberthemilk.com). The service uses it’s own Authentication and URL signing and adding an OpenTable for the service couldn’t be accomplished before.

With YQL Execute (just got done reading the documentation), adding an OpenTable for RTM, and many such services, should become much easier. For those who don’t know, YQL Execute allows one to include javascript code in the definition of the table which executes on their servers. This opens the door to creation of an OpenTable for pretty much any web-service.

Adding the Execute tag definitely expands the services and developers Yahoo! can reach. Good job, Yahoo! and thanks for the YQL Execute.
